industrial performance: Appearance is a colorless, odorless and transparent liquid, which is a mixture of various lower alkanes. The range of product fractions is wider than that of industrial hexane, and it has similar properties to industrial hexane. It is miscible with most liquid oils except castor oil and can dissolve lower fatty acids.
Production method: It is mainly made by catalytic reforming with residual oil as the raw material.
Uses: It is used as extraction solvent and adhesive production in vegetable oil extraction process. It can also be used for synthetic rubber process and chemical reagents and pharmaceutical solvents.
Packaging, storage and transportation: According to SH 0164, when used as a vegetable oil extraction solvent, special tanks, special lines, special cars should not be mixed with other oil products. Store in a cool and ventilated place, pay attention to fire, explosion, and anti-static. Danger and toxicity of combustion and explosion: volatile, flammable and explosive. Large inhalation is narcotic, which contains a small amount of aromatics and sulfide impurities, which are more toxic. The main route of entry is through inhalation or skin contact.
